Ash Technical Services has been appointed to deliver a partial refurbishment and extension of Hope Cottage, a Grade II listed property in Uckfield. The project involves the careful restoration of selected areas of the existing building alongside the construction of a new two-storey rear extension, designed to complement the original structure.
Extensive opening-up works have been undertaken to assess and coordinate structural requirements within the traditional lath-and-plaster construction, ensuring the building's integrity is maintained throughout. The scheme will enhance the property’s layout and functionality while preserving and celebrating its historic character.
